Daily maintenance of CNC machine tools --- CNC system

There are many types of CNC machine tools, and the daily maintenance work should be based on the type, model and actual use of the machine tool, and with reference to the requirements of the machine tool instruction manual, to formulate a targeted maintenance system. The following are some common and general daily maintenance points.

Under the premise of strictly abiding by the operating procedures and daily maintenance system, open the doors of CNC cabinets and strong electric cabinets as little as possible. Generally, there will be oil mist, dust and even metal powder in the air of the machining workshop. Once they fall into the CNC system On the circuit board or electronic device, it is easy to cause the insulation resistance between components to drop, and even lead to damage to the components and the circuit board. In summer, in order to make the CNC system work for a long time, some users take the method of opening the door of the CNC cabinet to dissipate heat, which is an extremely undesirable method, which will eventually lead to accelerated damage to the CNC system.

1. Regularly clean the cooling and ventilation system of the CNC cabinet

It should be checked whether each cooling fan on the CNC cabinet is working properly. Check whether the secondary air duct filter is blocked every six months or quarterly. If there is too much dust accumulation on the filter screen and it is not cleaned in time, it will cause the temperature in the CNC cabinet to be too high.

2. The input and output devices of the numerical control system should be regularly maintained

Most of the CNC machine tools produced before the 1980s are equipped with photoelectric paper tape readers. If the reading tape part is polluted, it will cause errors in reading information. For this reason, the photoelectric reader must be maintained according to regulations.

3. DC motor brushes require regular inspection and replacement

The transient wear of the brushes of the DC motor will affect the performance of the motor and even cause damage to the motor. To this end, the motor brushes should be regularly inspected and replaced. CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, machining centers, etc., should be checked once a year.

4. Replace storage batteries regularly

Generally, the CMOSRAM storage device is provided with a rechargeable battery maintenance circuit in the numerical control system to ensure that the content of its memory can be maintained when the system is not powered on. In general, even if it has not failed, it should be replaced once a year to ensure the normal operation of the system. The replacement of the battery should be carried out under the power supply state of the CNC system to prevent the information in the RAM from being lost during replacement.

5. Maintenance of spare circuit boards

When the spare printed circuit board is not used for a long time, it should be regularly installed in the numerical control system and run for a period of time to prevent damage.
